Amazon DSP Support and Warranty Claims

The below guidelines and resources are provided by Bullitt Group in collaboration with Lenbrook to support Cat® Smartphones for Amazon DSP partners.

Cat® Phone In- Warranty Repair Process

Cat® Phones purchased by Amazon DSP partners come with Bullitt’s Extended Warranty providing 24-month coverage to address defects, including screen breaks. Warranty coverage does not include loss, theft, or customer abuse. For details of manufacturer’s warranty please review terms contained inside the box or by visiting Cat phones Support.

Amazon DSP partners have options to initiate a warranty claim, contacting Cat® support directly via the web at Cat phones Support or by telephone at +1 (438) 448-3603, or via email at support@catphones.com.

You will receive an email containing an inbound shipping label to the email address provided to our support team. Pack devices in protective material, place in an appropriately sized box for shipping. Adhere shipping label to outside of box, contact courier pick up or drop off. Bullitt recommends using the original packing or protective packaging to ship the device.

Your device will then be inspected by our service partner and the repaired device or a replacement will usually be shipped back to you within 5 business days of receiving the device barring any signs of customer abuse.

It is a requirement to remove SD, SIM cards and any accessories before shipping your Cat® phone to the repair center. SD and SIM cards, and accessories received by the repair center will be destroyed to protect customer privacy. SD, SIM cards and accessories cannot be retrieved after shipment.

Before making a warranty claim online or contacting a customer service agent please have the IMEI number available, as well as your proof of purchase date associated with your original sales invoice.

There are four different ways to find your IMEI number on your device. These steps are outlined in this document. If the IMEI is not provided, the device will not be eligible for warranty repair.

  1. The IMEI can be found on the label outside on the box that you received your phone in.
  2. Type *#06# onto the key paid dialer. A pop-up will show the device IMEI.
  3. Your service provider will have this information for the phone number and the associated IMEI/MEID.
  4. Beneath the SIM tray there is a black plastic label that contains the IMEI, serial number and regulatory information.

Personal Content:
Bullitt recommends performing a backup to avoid the loss of any personal content. Follow the directions below to back up any personal content on your Cat phone before shipping for repair. The following instructions will assist backing up personal content. There are two basic ways to back up contact information:

Google Account sync:

  • Google Sync can be setup to synchronize with your Gmail account automatically”
  • From the Home screen, tap > Settings > Users & accounts > tap the Google account to be used for synchronization.
  • Tap Account sync > and ensure Contacts switch is on (green button is slid to the right)

Backup contacts to your SIM or SD card:

  • From the home screen, tap > Contacts > tap the menu icon > Settings > Export and follow the instructions.

Seed Stock

In addition to the purchase of Cat® Phones and Accessories, to support driver operations, it is recommended that Amazon DSP partners purchase and manage a pool of seed stock devices which can be used as replacement devices in the event a defect or screen damage occurs. It is at the sole discretion of Amazon DSP to evaluate all aspects of business operations and to determine the correct number of seed stock it wishes to order. Bullitt recommends adding 3% to 5% of total purchase to accommodate a seed stock pool. Cat® Phone devices experiencing warranty failures and broken screens are eligible to be repaired through the in-warranty repair process. Upon completion of the repair process, the repaired device will be added to the seed stock.
